Adrienne Baer, BS
Adrienne received her Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Maryland, College Park and is working on her Masters in Mechanical Engineering: Design Impact at Stanford University.
Before joining the Better Lab, she worked at Optum as a data analyst and founded their Lever Lab program to help employees start social intrapreneurship projects using design thinking. She has worn many design hats, including work as a design facilitator leading design workshops for homeless youth and service providers in San Francisco to design a roommate matching system, as a founder creating a non-profit to create personalized storybooks for chronically ill children, and as a digital designer and researcher building prototypes for case managers of victims of violence at UCSF. In her free time, Adrienne plays ukulele, runs long distances, listens to history podcasts, and reads fiction.
