Meghana Gadgil, MD MPH FACP

Meghana Gadgil MD, MPH, FACP is an Assistant Professor at UCSF in the Division of Hospital Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health in the Division of Health Policy and Management. She earned degrees in Biochemistry (B.A) and Conservation Resource Studies (B.S) and her Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley. Dr. Gadgil trained in Internal Medicine at Stanford as a member of the Global Health Track and has extensive experience working in diverse, low-resource settings around the world, including as a Fulbright Scholar in Bangladesh.

Prior to joining the Better Lab, Dr. Gadgil spent five years on the faculty at Dell Medical School at UT Austin, where her work as an award-winning academic hospitalist was complemented by positions with the Design Institute for Health, the Value Institute and the Division of Global Health.
